Rooms are modern with comfortable beds and stunning views of the Cairngorm Mountains. As a backpacker, I absolutely loved waking up to such a breathtaking sight every morning!
Personally, I would have preferred a larger seating area in the living room of the chalet. However, I understand that others might still find it sufficient for their needs.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Cairngorm Lodge, especially the well-furnished apartments with their cozy lounges and excellent entertainment options. Plus, it's a treat to have a view of McDonald Hotel's lawned area.so many squirrels!
Oh, the struggle of having to pay extra for the on-site gym! How inconvenient it was to keep my fitness routine intact.

I keep coming back because at my first stay they helped me find my lost ID card. This place suits me perfectly with free Wi-Fi, parking, a kitchen, and a flat-screen TV. It's great for a city break.

Located just a stone's throw away from the Cairngorm Mountain Railway, we were able to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Scottish mountains. The home itself was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities needed for a wonderful family vacation. The kids had a blast exploring the Cairngorms National Park, with its miles of wilderness perfect for hill walking and mountain biking. And as parents, we couldn't have asked for a better escape to reconnect with nature and create lasting memories with our children. Truly a remarkable experience!
For dads, it would be great to have a dedicated play area for children.
